Induction – MITSOT’s 9th Batch

The campus resumes to its Greenery again with our beloved Students resuming back to the campus….

The Induction Program of MITSOT’s 9th Batch (Class of 2015-17) was held on Saturday, 13th June, 2015 at St. Dnyaneshwara Hall, MIT Pune’s Kothrud Campus.

Address by Dr. Vishwanath D Karad Sir

Dr. Vishwanath D Karad Sir, Founder, Executive President and Managing Trustee, MAEER’s MIT Group of Institutions, Pune welcomed the Chief Guest; Guest of Honour’s and thanked them for their presence. He urged the students to be physically fit, mentally alert, intellectually sharp and spiritually elevated so as to develop the wining personalities.

Dr. Milind Pande, Project Director, MIT Pune’s MITSOT gave a warm welcome and congratulated 120+  students and their Parents  for choosing MIT Pune. He briefed the audience on the Journey of MAEER’s MIT Group of Institutions since its foundation in 1983 till date. Dr. Milind Pande underlined the significance of four D’s i.e. Determination, Dedication, Devotion and Decency, part of the MIT Culture. He very firmly assured the Parents that they are leaving their wards are in the safe hands for the next two years.

Mr. Tomio Isogai, MD Sharp India, shared his valuable thoughts and experiences highlighting the richness of Indian Culture.

Dr. Ashok Korwar – Management Consultant, Strategic Advisor   & Ex. Faculty- IIM Ahmedabad shared his unique experience on being a student as well as faculty at IIM, Ahmedabad. He appreciated and complimented MITSOT for its vision – “to develop strategic integrated thinking among students” as today’s executives and business leaders cannot solve problems in isolation. A holistic approach is need of the hour.

Mr. Pradeep Kumar Sampath, COO, Mrupee (MPPL) shared his thoughts on the emerging opportunities in electronic/mobile payments.

Mr. Kulshreshtha Gaurav, Head- International Business,   Bajaj Auto Ltd, highlighted on the importance of Positive thinking, setting goals, Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Challenges Analysis, and above all the Passion to be an Achiever.

The Master of Ceremony was performed by Prof. Shashank Divekar and Ms. Shobhana Anand. Dr. Jaideep Jadhav, Head-Academics and examinations, expressed the vote of thanks.

The entire team of MITSOT, teaching as well as non-teaching staff members, warmly welcomed the newly inducted students to MITSOT Family.
