A well known Management Guru of Indian Management Education Prof. Sharu Rangnekar visited MITSOT on the 27th March, 2012. Prof. Sharu Rangnekar showed his expertise with the students on various management topics. He focused on developing the Soft-Skills of the future managers.
According to him, apart from hard skills, the success of a manager depends on the soft skills leading to collaboration, co-operation and co-ordination. Teaching of Soft Skills is difficult because they are learnt by the simple but difficult process of “Talking less, listening more, and observing constantly.”
A full day workshop on “Uncommon People Sense” & “What They Do Not Teach You at Harvard” was organized. It was a very interactive and useful workshop which raised the confidence level of the students.
