Joining the noble endeavor of our Prime Minister, MITSOT ran a Campaign namely “Engine ON, Mobile OFF”, with a view to create awareness and caution regarding the accidents caused due to talking on mobile phone while driving. This exercise was intended to create driver awareness and also to caution him of distracted driving that may result into putting others into danger.
This campaign was initiated by Dr. Milind Pande, Project Director MIT School of Telecom Management & Dy. Commissioner of Police –Traffic Mr. Sarang Awad. We could successfully run the “Engine On, Mobile OFF” campaign across the city of Pune. Where around 18 high traffic density squares were identified & more than 160 students of MITSOT made the campaign a grand success, the initiative gathered huge and incredible response.
