SIP Experience shared by a student

An internship is an opportunity to learn the skills and behaviours along with the work values that are required for success in the workplace.

I have nice feelings about the internship I did this semester. I am extremely glad that I did it

My internship was at RAJESH CONSTRO TRADING CO. PVT.LTD. My colleagues were MBA 1st year students. My reason for choosing this internship was that I wanted to get familiarised with the office environment and the kind of work being done in the office.

My experience in RAJESH CONSTRO has been very useful in terms of learning about a more structured approach of co-ordinating and setting up marketing strategies for different units.

Overall my experience at RAJESH CONSTRO taught me a lot about the functioning of a central business unit and the co-ordination of units connected to it. I have once again realised the importance of marketing and how it is the right career path for me to pursue.

I really enjoyed working with my colleagues and of course Ms. MEGHA AGGARWAL the Director of  RAJESH CONSTRO. I learned about tele calling, I got good command over MS office and the different levels of market. I think that this type of internship work is very beneficial to people who want to go into a profession where they want to do marketing; for me, it was a good choice. I am very thankful to have been able to do something such like this and I believe it has helped to narrow my mind in the decisions I will make for my future in college. In a way I wish I had chosen an internship where I could have learned more stuff then what I did, but it was definitely a good start to broadening my horizons.

Internship is very important for shaping MBA students career path. I am very lucky that MITSOT has provided me such a huge path to do my internship in one of the leading telecom company SIEMENS ENTERPRISE COMMUNICATION.
My job in Siemens Enterprise Communication as an Internship Trainee was to cover as many as companies in Pune and the places around Pune and tell them about Siemens product and Unified Communication.
In those 8 weeks of my internship my job was too aware and brief about the Unified Communication and EPABX system to the clients and various Companies. I started through field visit and telecalling. In field visit I had to find new clients and meet those clients after taking an appointment through telecalling and brief them about the same and create a strong client base for future business.
This industry exposure has developed new skills and personality into me. It has build confidence and has taught us how to work in a team & professionalism to a great extent on any project.
Finally I would say, the guidance received from my company mentor Mr. Sanjay Dande and College mentor Prof. Archana Deshpande has been a major motivating factor to continuously contribute and give ones best. Though there have been my points of ups and downs, it has only taught me to be a confident person and has added a lot of personal learning apart from professional ones.
Thanks MITSOT once again to give me opportunity to work with Siemens Enterprise Communication, it helps me a lot to improve my personal skills, communication and it was a great learning experience for me.
