Dr. Milind is currently working in the capacity of Project Director, MIT Group of Institutions, Pune, India, founded in 1983. MIT Pune is a multi-discipline, multi-locational centre of excellence with over 63 institutes imparting value based education to over 54,000 students across India.

A dedicated Professional with 25 years of Academic Experience, Dr. Milind is instrumental in getting license of Private University for MIT Pune in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan in India, as well as abroad. He has extensively travelled throughout the World for Technology Transfers, International Tie-ups, Collaborations and Faculty/Student exchange programs. 

Dr. Milind is one of the rare recipients of a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India on Telecom Technology Transfer. He has been relentlessly workingtowards realizing the Dream of the Past President, India, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam on the Project, Providing Urban Amenities in Rural Areas (PURA).

After Graduating in Engineering, Dr. Milind acquired Three Masters degrees; ME (Electronics), MBA (Marketing) and MPM- (Personnel Management) along with Twin Ph. D.’s, the first in  Business Management (International Trades) and the second Ph. D. in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (Wireless Sensor Networks).

Dr. Milind’s expertise lies in Research areas that include Technology Transfers, M-Education, M-Agriculture, M-Health, Smart Sensing Networks and ICT Innovations. He has also played a vital role in the prestigious International event, Robocon, since its inception in India, in 2005.

  • Gave a ‘Leadership Talk’ on ‘Automotive TELEMATICS: Trends in Automotive Telematics: The race to Safety – Insurance Telematics’ at Telematics India 2013, organized by Telecom Wire- 22nd of August, 2013
  • Participated as a Panelist in first day’s Session at CommunicAsia2012, Singapore for Panel Discussion titled as Emerging Markets: Incredible India
  • Delivered a talk on National Telecom Policy 2011 and Opportunities for Global Investors in Manufacturing, R&D and Value Added Services CommunicAsia2012, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore
  • Awarded for 'Recognizing Excellence in Education' in Concern 2012 –by ASSOCHAM and Bal Bharti Academy, New Delhi India, Awarded MIT School of Telecom & Management Studies, Pune for its contribution towards the 'Education Development in Rural India of the Year 2011-2012
  • Received the Best "Business School Leadership Award" from the Prestigious 19th Dewang Mehta Business School Awards, 2011 in recognition of leadership, development, innovation & rural projects undertaken in the field of telecommunication business on 26th November 2011
