This event is designed to serve as a platform for students in their final year of Engineering to showcase their projects to the industry. This event will allow students to receive valuable inputs from experts regarding their projects. It also allows them to gauge their relative strengths and weaknesses in a competitive environment.

Guidelines for the Participation in TECHNOBOT 2010 

 The competition is sought to be for Robot Based Projects, however projects having innovative ideas in Mechanical, Production, Instrumentation, Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer, Information Technology and Inter-disciplinary streams are welcome. 

These Projects will be broadly considered among three main Categories as:

 
  • Automation and Control

  • Simulation and Modelling

  • Embedded Systems

     

How to Participate  

The participant(s) are required to send the Abstract of about 300-350 words. The abstract should highlight the innovativeness of idea, theme, methodology, status of completion (even if it’s an incomplete project having originality and innovative idea may also apply). 

Selection Criteria for Competition 

The abstract received will be reviewed by expert team from academia. The reviewer’s decision for the acceptance will be final and will be communicated to the participants for further registration by mail. 

Who can Participate 

  • Pre-final & Final Year Engineering Students. 

Rules for Participant(s) 

*Maximum 3-student participants are allowed in a team.
*Participants are required to fill up the online registration form
*Abstract (300-500 words) must reach on or before 23 Feb. 2010
*On acceptance of Abstract participants are required to register for Technobot 2010 through on-line registration process.
*Registering participants are required to mention details of the Demand Draft in Registration form of Rs. 500/- drawn in the favour of “Executive Director, MITSOT” payable at Pune. 
*Participants are required to submit the recommendation letter from their Guide in the prescribed format(provided here), which must be on the institution letter head duly signed by the Guide.
*Registered Participants are required to bring their own networking and hardware instruments/equipments/set-up and mail its list to the coordinator Prof.Y.V.Chavan by e-mail (technobot@mitsot.com, technobot@maepune.com ). Only Wi-Fi facility & electrical supply will be provided in the premises by the organization
*An imperial size poster or PowerPoint presentation can be made for better explanation during the evaluation by the judges.
*The decision of the Judges will be final and no queries in this regard will be entertained.
*Registered participants are required to carry Identity Card of their institution.
*Only one registration form is to be sent for a team.
